How to get Traffic from Social Bookmarking sites (Part 1)

Of course like any SEO specialist you dream to see your articles on the front pages of such famous sites like digg.com and the others. Here are some secret steps you need to get the traffic from social bookmarking sites. I am only enlisting 8 of them here, for the remaining 8, do watch out for my next post!

1. The first really important thing is to find the proper name for your article. Keep in mind that the headline is the main thing in your writing as it is the first meeting of the reader and your content. If that “meeting” appeared to be successful then the reader will click on and get the other information. But if the headline is boring, for sure you will miss many clients.

2. To keep that interest on the highest point you have to give a skillful description of the article. It will make the reader surprised and that’s why he will read the whole article with pleasure.

3. The first paragraph is also important for the reader. He will be attracted by the headline and description and finally he reads the article. If the first lines are not catching, he will easily leave it and start to read something else.

4. But never think that the headline and the first paragraph can replace the good content in general. If the plot of your article is boring and ordinary, you will never meet this person on your page again. The articles must be informative, well written and useful for the reader – it is the secret of success in SEO area.

5. Make it easy and comfortable to bookmark your site. Remember that the client won’t try too hard to praise you. If you need him to bookmark the site, give the proper button just nearby and for sure the people will vote for you!

6. Remember the time when you are going to stay at the front page of some famous sites. In fact your clients area active only at some period of the day time – find that period or you will stay on the front page when your readers will be in bed.

7. Right your articles according to the categories that exist on the site. In the other case you won’t achieve the first page as your article won’t be classified according to the categories.

8. Try to send the links to various sites as it will make you popular and you will be recognizable. Then you will get to the first page of some solid bookmarking site.
